Initial Salesforce Commerce Cloud project
The initial launch of Reitmans.com was followed by four additional brands and associated stores based on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud: Penningtons, Addition Elle, RW&CO and Thyme Mobizcorp implemented a complex promotion logic with an external promotion feed and, by integrating the Oracle RightNow service cloud, allowed for synchronization of all customer data.
Mobizcorp also provided the support for the United States rollout, including currency, tax and cross-border handling, and special adjustments for the American market.
Marketplace launch
In 2023, the new Mirakl-powered marketplace solution for Reitmans was launched which will further transform how customers shop their online stores and, in turn, how their business advances into the future. Already the largest women’s clothing specialty retailer in Canada, the RCL Market will now allow Reitmans to further transform the way their customers shop online – offering them a greater selection, at competitive prices, in one convenient location.
RCL Market offers handpicked products from trusted partner brands – many of whom are part of the Mirakl Connect ecosystem of high quality, curated sellers. Shoppers can now enjoy a tailored shopping experience and the same dedicated service all in one place.and browse a selection of products that complement the existing offerings of Reitmans' three powerful brands: Reitmans, Penningtons, and RW&CO.
BOPIS implementation & Checkout redesign
Mobizcorp assisted Reitmans in the implementation of BOPIS into their omnichannel retail strategy to align with changing consumer behavior. In addition, Mobizcorp experts tailored the checkout process including the cart redesign.
The project entailed a complete makeover, drastically changing the styles to improve the user experience. As a result, adding a product to the cart displays a dialog with Salesforce Einstein recommendations for cross-selling, the UX of the cart page was updated and optimized as well as the checkout steps were split into different pages.
Mobizcorp has successfully completed a payment provider transition to a new global PSP solution for Reitmans' brands. Now, Reitmans' stores provide an expanded range of payment options, enhanced payment processing and fraud prevention as well as optimized checkout processes to drive higher conversion rates.
Constantly improving the online store functionality and integrations with the ongoing support of Mobizcorp, Reitmans is empowered to realize their strategic eCommerce ambitions and to strengthen customer experiences.
